Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have been drawn in the same half of the draw for the Australian Open, with both facing tough routes to the final.
Djokovic’s participation is still up in the air due to his ongoing visa contentions, but should he be allowed to play the tournament he will face compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic.
Cameron Norrie, Carlos Alcaraz, Pablo Carreno Busta, and Matteo Berrettini potentially stand between Djokovic and a semi-final spot.
Such a semi-final would likely be against Alexander Zverev or Rafael Nadal.
They are potenial quarter-final opponents, but with the likes of Hubert Hurkacz, Reilly Opelka, Lloyd Harris, Denis Shapovalov, Aslan Karatsev, and Karen Khachanov in their quarter, there is a lot of potential for either to fall before the last four.

The bottom half of the draw is just as intriguing. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud have been drawn together and could meet in the quarterfinals.
Jannik Sinner, Andy Murray, and Roberto Bautista Agut will be among those going all out to stop that one, though.
Russian duo Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev headline the bottom quarter, where Marin Cilic, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Ugu Humbert will probably provide the biggest test.
