'I don't know if he can read my mind' - Alexander Zverev says Novak Djokovic is the best returner in tennis

Novak Djokovic sliding Australian Open

Alexander Zverev says Novak Djokovic is such a good returner that he wonders if he can actually read his mind.

Djokovic, among many talents, is known for his supreme defensive game, and it all starts with his return of serve.

Zverev, meanwhile, is one of the most feared servers on the ATP Tour, and he says even he struggles to get anything past the Serbian.

When asked in a webchat by Head who the best returner in the world was, Zverev answered: "I'm going with Novak.

"I've played him a few times, and I can serve at 235kph right on the spot, and for some reason he puts the racquet there," Zverev said.

"I don't know how he does it. I don't know if he reads it, or if he knows where I'm serving, I don't know if he can read my mind, but the return comes back faster than my serve every single time.

"It's incredible. It's unbelievable."

Bianca Andreescu also named Novak Djokovic, hailing his 'super consistency.'

Diego Schwartzman also initially said Djokovic, although he quickly changed his answer to Andy Murray.
