Nick Kyrgios rages at comparison to ATP ace, saying: 'I’ve never felt more insulted'

Nick Kyrgios Australian Open reacts

Nick Kyrgios has reacted angrily to being compared to compatriot Bernard Tomic, saying he has 'never felt more insulted.'

The Australian used his Instagram account to express his anger, although he did not reveal who had made the comparison.

“I got compared with Bernard Tomic today and I’ve never felt more insulted,” Kyrgios wrote.

“Does he have a foundation? Does he have the accomplishments? Did he raise money for the bushfires? It’s disgusting man.

“Do your research, also I ain’t f**king with anyone who does OnlyFans. Oh and by accomplishments (I beat the big 4).”

Tomic was the world number 17 back in 2016, but he has slipped all but entirely from the tennis landscape since.

He is currently ranked 207 in the world, and is probably more known for his private life than his tennis.

In 2018 he was a contestant on the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, although quit the show after just three days saying he was depressed.

Tomic is also currently dating Vanessa Sierra, a former Love Island Australia contestant who caused controversy ahead of the Australian Open.

With the duo in a hotel lockdown in the lead-up to the tournament, Sierra, who used the OnlyFans platform before her fame, claimed she did not know how to wash her own hair as she complained about conditions in the hotel.
