Novak Djokovic can remain at the top of tennis for 'four or five years' says Daniela Hantuchova - if he wants to.
Djokovic has made no secret of the fact that he wants to chase down every major record he can before hanging up his racket.
This month he will equal the record for most year-end world number ones and in March he will pass Roger Federer for most weeks spent on top of the ATP rankings.
After that, he says his focus will turn to winning the Grand Slam race, in which he is currently three behind Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
But, according to Hantuchova who is close to the Djokovic camp, he will have plenty of time to achieve whatever he wants to.
"Given Novak's willpower and fitness, he can be around for a very long time,' Hantuchova said on her podcast.
"I feel he has so much left in his game. He is so strong physically and mentally I would say at least four or five years.
"The way the physios do their work and the rehab, the recovery techniques are completely different to what they were 15 years ago so he recovers better.
"Perhaps it's really about whether it still fulfils him."
