QUIZ: Can you name every male winner of Roland Garros?

Although a certain Spanish player makes it look otherwise, Roland Garros may just be the toughest Grand Slam to win in tennis.

The conditions can be heavy and the matches very long. Clay has more specialists than any other surface too, making what would be a routine win at any other major a much tougher proposition on the red dirt of Roland Garros.

Indeed, you look through the list of players never to win the French Open and you’ll be surprised at just how many top names are on there.

The French Open is also an absolute crown jewel of the tennis calendar too, though.

In fact, it is something of a feast if you like your tennis contests long, arduous and tactical. With longer rallies and slower courts, players able to construct points cerebrally always do well at the French Open.

That said, how well do YOU know your Roland Garros winners? Let’s find out by testing your knowledge on the men who have lifted the trophy on what is arguably the most unforgiving court in tennis.
