Can you name every Roland Garros male semi-finalist between 1980-2019?

Rafael Nadal has made winning Roland Garros look so easy in the last decade-and-a-half that we have forgotten just how hard it is.

The clay of Paris has never been easy to master, and historically it is perhaps the toughest of the Grand Slams to win.

Indeed, a list of French Open winners is an eclectic list of some of tennis’ most obscure and unlikeliest winners, and that is even more so when talking about players to reach the semi-finals.

So how well do you know your Roland Garros stuff? Play our quiz to find out! Oh, and just to be nice, you also have been given their nationality and their seeding for the tournament, so no cheating.

If you’re getting anything above 60%, we reckon you’re doing pretty well.

Good luck with this one in the meantime, and don’t forget to tweet us your scores @tennisbuzzblog.

(Note: If you’re having problems attempting the quiz, play it on the Sporcle website.)
