Seven-time Grand Slam Champion Matts Wilander has named Stefanos Tsitsipas and Iga Swiatek as the two players who have impressed him the most at Roland Garros.
Greek player Ttitsipas, although not featuring in this weekends final, has still impressed after coming back from two sets down to force a fifth set semi-final showdown with world number one Novak Djokovic.
Eurosport tennis expert Wilander said: "I would say Stefanos Tsitsipas has impressed me most on the men's side, the fact he can make the semi-finals on clay court.
"Five sets seems to be suiting him very well, he is learning how to play those and he is tough to beat.
"So I think Tsitispas is definitely going from strength to strength in Grand Slams. He knows how to win five set matches, he can handle any momentum switches which is also important."
Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek, who will take on fourth-seed Sophia Kenin in the women's singles final this weekend, has made the biggest improvement according to Wilander.
"On the women's side, its hard to say anyone else other than Swiatek.
"She is a little ahead of her curve in my book, but I think the heavy courts have made it slow enough where she can be in control all the time.
"She's a little bit ahead of schedule if you ask me from what I saw at the US Open and what I saw last year. But she is unreal, really incredible."
