Stefanos Tsitsipas said he 'flew like a little bird' in his amazing win over Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open.
Tsitsipas overcame a two set deficit to storm to a sensational win over the world number two in the Australian Open quarterfinal.
Afterwards he could hardly keep his emotions in check, saying in his on-court interview that what he was feeling was 'indescribable.'
"I don't know what happened after the third set," Tsitsipas said. "I flew like a little bird.
Tsitsipas will now face fourth seed Daniil Medvedev in the semi-final after the Russian overcame compatriot Andrey Rublev in straight sets.
The Greek ace is aware of how tough it will be but it's a test he is really looking forward to.
"He is an opponent that plays really very well," Tsitsipas said. "A lot of consecutive wins and in good shape, everyone knows he is playing well.
"I need to recover, have a good ice bath and take it day by day.
"He is going to give me a very difficult time but each single match I get to play in Australia is bliss."
Medvedev is currently on a 19 game winning streak and has won his last ten matches against top ten opposition.
